Eurovator is a food-grade materials handling elevator from Simpro, which provides a safe, fast method of moving hygiene-critical bulk materials between production levels.
With full IP66-rated componentry, the Eurovator is designed for operation in damp food-production environments, and can withstand regular washdowns with harsh cleaning chemicals. The simple, accessible design allows rapid sterilisation, and a certified electronic interlock system ensures personnel safety when cleaning operational areas such as the elevator shaft.
Like all Simpro products, the Eurovator features a very flexible design. Access stations can be fitted to the front and/or rear of the machine at any level up to ten metres. Various standard models are available with capacities of up to 600kg and car sizes up to 1500mm x 1500mm. And because the elevator needs no floor pit or other building alterations, installation typically takes less than 60 minutes and does not require a building consent. This minimises production downtime and makes the Eurovator very cost-effective.
